I have left maintenance requests and they have been either ignored or attempted but not completed. They are electrical problems... which, of course, is concerning. I even had a phone conversation with staff at one point and was told a maintenance person would come to see me the next day for clarification and no one came. What is it that propels people to take a position in a company with the express purpose of not fulfilling the role? Or, is this their way of telling us, "Do the work yourself." Everything here is fine, one thing is that the upper unit has a dog and it barks whenever he wants to, run and play maybe... cause we xan here the stamping and running. I worked during night and sleep by day so its really bugging me. Another thing is that mail boxes are being open again. Thats is really really sad. We are in our 2nd year here and find it one of the better apts we've been in so far. All the staff are friendly and efficient.... Maintenance required is acted upon quickly with routine inspections ( bugs , heating, fire alarms). They have a gym here but I have not participated yet so can not comment. Being a dog friendly bldg most residents are accepting of these animals. Right outside the bldg there are 3 bus stops taking you downtown or to the nearest shopping complex.A few down sides - if you face Fairlight the traffic is very busy so therefore loud all night. Also with the bus stop there, sounds resonate from the people talking at the stop . We live on the 4th floor and there are a number of times when the elevator does not work. A wait of about 5 min and it seems to reset. My other complaint is the size of the parking stalls. I have a van and so does my neighbor. The parking stalls are too small and I have had difficulty getting into my vehicle. There are quite a few visitor parking stalls though.Read More about ventana apts

As a resident of Ventana, I've seen nothing but good about this location. As for the staff, you're all doing an incredible... job for the building, as well as updates and notifications. The maintenance staff is also very sufficient in their work for the building as well. In my personal opinion, this place has met all my needs as a resident and beyond! Great place to live! I live in one of the townhomes, and it is wonderful! Really enjoy all the features including in-suite... laundry, 1.5 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms with so much storage space. I rent one of the townhouses with ventana, I have to say it’s one of the best places I’ve ever lived! I have been here for... 2 years, whenever I need some help from maintenance they are here within the day of request or the next day, super fast service. When I first moved in, the housing director gave us a “welcome home package” which included treats for my dog and a welcome door Mat - she went above and beyond to make it feel like home for us on our move in date.
